Our therapists who specialize in school-age mental health provide counseling to improve the social, emotional, or behavioral functioning of children and adolescents. This primarily involves working one-on-one with your child as well as collaborating with you. We also collaborate with teachers or other school staff when needed. Counseling with school-age children and adolescents is provided by a licensed psychologist or a licensed mental health counselor.
Clients in need of counseling for perinatal and postpartum mental health meet exclusively with Dr. Cangelosi. She offers supportive counseling that is centered in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR).
